2017 ASMP Portfolio Review -- Reviewer Bios

    Karen D'Silva Bio:
Karen D'Silva is one of today's most influential creatives. She has made a career out of deciphering the commercial photography industry, starting in the stock world as an Editor, Art Director, and finally Creative Director for Photonica. Today, Karen brings her unique talents to Agency Access as a Consultant and lecturer.

    Jennifer Kilberg Bio:
Jennifer Kilberg's ability to recognize a client's needs and find a clear path to success is one of the many intangibles that she provides. With eighteen years' experience in the industry as a buyer and photo editor to name a few, she provides a unique insight and remains a source of inspiration to her loyal (and growing) client base.

    Lynn Kyle Bio:
Lynn brings a unique combination of agency and production experience to Agency Access. She's intimately familiar with the business end of commercial photography and illustration and has, over the last two decades, worked with high-profile artists as an Art Buyer, Producer and Artist Rep at top firms including Leo Burnett Chicago.

    Carolyn Potts Bio:
Since 2004, Carolyn Potts has been providing her consulting clients with both strategic marketing plans and compassionate butt-kicking. This combo consulting approach helps her clients successfully land the assignments they want and the projects they crave.

She has over 30 years of experience as a successful photography rep. Editing portfolios has always been her passion. She's created over 10,000 portfolio edits and presentations edits that have led to her photographers being hired by top ad agencies, design firms, corporations, and magazines around the world. She's also helped photographers pick the right images to get them into the award shows. She's also served as a freelance photo consultant/art buyer educating organizations on how to buy professional photography and where to find and how to work with the best pro photographers (Yes ... is a place she's led them to).

Her musings on all aspects of the photo business can be found regularly on the ASMP Business Blog and her own blog. She's a frequent portfolio reviewer at PhotoPlus Expo, The Palm Springs Photo Festival, and several photography schools. She also gives talks and leads photo business workshops across the US and abroad.

At every portfolio review event, she loves that she can still discover imagery that takes her breath away -- so much so that it inspires her to share it with her art-buying colleagues.

Allegra Wilde Bio: Allegra is the Co-Founder + Chief Operations Officer of Eyeist. Prior to Eyeist, Allegra has been a Picture/Visual Strategist, Creative Director + Consultant to artists, photographers, and other art-based businesses. She was formerly the Director of Talent + Agent Branding at The Workbook. Recognized as a community builder, she has advised clients on sales strategy, marketing, business development, and portfolio development for photographers + agents.

Allegra is a Photography industry authority on the Agent/Artist relationship, marketing for artists, agency and talent branding, picture strategy and editing. She is a frequent speaker, panelist and reviewer at PhotoPlus, APA, ASMP, and the Palm Springs Photo Festival. She has conducted and designed workshops + seminars for photographers at all levels, including open critiques for emergent and established talent. Allegra has served as a MFA mentor for the Digital Photography program at SVA, and is a visiting instructor at Art Center College of Design, FIT, and many other university photography programs, where she has regularly critiqued graduating students' final portfolios.

In addition, Allegra has created and currently moderates 2 online industry forums. Art + Photo Agents forum and the Art Producer and Photo Editor's Forum.
